Do I bleed paint yet?
It’s interesting that the words “paintmaking” and “printmaking” are different by only one letter, but when you click on the the hyperlink “paintmaking” you certainly don’t get printing supplies. Damn my eyes.
I think I may take a break and run down to Dakota Art and see if they have block printing inks. I don’t recall right now. I didn’t do anything artistic yesterday at all. Oh, yeah, and I should pick up some some printing paper.
On Saturday, though, I worked on my alcohol-ink technique. I’ll post a pic when it’s finished. It’s on 8″x10″ Multimedia Art Board, and I haven’t decided if I’m going to name it and leave it as-is, collage or paint onto it, or cut it into smaller sections for ATCs or Art Squared pieces. Suffice to say the colors are really brilliant, and the surface texture is lovely.
