New shop, new show
I found a really neat shop today while looking for fibers for my Mandala w.i.p., Village Yarn and Tea Shop. The owner was there, and helped me find some stuff, and asked me what I was working on. I told her, and we talked about mandalas for a few minutes, then she said she hangs the work of local artists in her shop and I could bring in some of my work and display it in the shop if it was appropriate to her clientele, and if anyone was interested in buying, she would give them my card. How about that?
Oh, BTW, I’m going to try and get a couple of pieces ready for the Mukilteo Lighthouse Festival’s Juried Art Show in September. The mandala is one of them, and I’m either going to make a second mandala or develop another concept I’m percolating.
